Welcome to Round Top Fold
We are building a small fold of Highland cattle in Round Top, Texas — selecting for calm temperament, sound structure, and the classic look of the Scottish Highland breed.
Located in Fayette County just outside the historic town of Round Top, our focus is quality over quantity. These are real Highland cattle: long hair, hardy, and people-oriented when raised with consistent handling.
If we include miniature Highlands in the fold, those animals will be registered with the International Miniature Cattle Breeders Registry (IMCBR) and most likely have some Highpark or Dexter genetics for size and color variety. Our Highland program is grounded in membership with the American Highland Cattle Association. Our official herd prefix is RTF.
Whether you are interested in Highland cattle for a small farm, as long-term companions, or simply want to learn more about the breed in this part of Texas, we invite you to follow along as the fold grows. Visitors will be welcome once we are established.
